Daily Meal – 165 W 4th Street

Ross County Community Action provides a free daily meal Monday through Friday at the Carver Community Center in downtown Chillicothe. The program is dedicated to supplying immediate and nutritional lunchtime meals to anyone in need.

Individuals, families, seniors and the homeless are eligible. Meals are provided in a clean and healthy environment where all people will be treated with dignity and respect. Proof of income is not required, however all individuals will have to sign in stating that they are either at or below the state poverty level.

Benefit Bank

The Benefit Bank is a web-based service that simplifies and centralizes the process of applying for many state and federal benefits for low- and moderate-income individuals and families. Through its eligibility screening tool, TBB can ensure that people are fully aware of the benefits to which they are entitled. As an expert system, it helps maximize the benefits and tax refunds they can secure. The “one-stop-shop” concept of TBB reduces the amount of time needed to apply for benefits.

The Benefit Bank is a free service and no consumer can be charged for using it. TBB is also free for use by host organization such as Ross County Community Action.
