Ross County Community Action has opened an Emergency Homeless Shelter
We've had many people ask how they can help and we very much appreciate the offers! Here is how the community can help!
Donations
We are accepting the following donations:
- Individually bottled water, juice, or sports drinks
- Individually packaged snacks, such as granola bars & crackers
- Toiletries such as soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, feminine products, razors, combs
- Winter hats, gloves, & socks
Items can be dropped off at 250 N. Woodbridge, Chillicothe between 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday. Or pick-ups can be arranged. We have also created an Amazon Wish List of needed items that can be purchased and shipped directly to RCCAC:

Volunteers
Volunteer opportunities will be available to assist RCCAC staff during shelter operations of 8pm-9am. Volunteers must pre-register and will be contacted with further information.
